What a busy time it is!

About time too!
Although I want to play Dad said its time to update my website. He's not doing much I can tell you, he said he's pulled his shoulder out and that's why he's not in a playful mood, yet he is sat in front of his shinny new iMac LOL
So whats been happing? I hear you ask!
I've just had my 2nd birthday, and I got lots of new toys and treats, and both don't last long I can tell you!
Antony is back from uni on work placement and we are all barking mad with excitement for him (Woof Woof Grrr)
We went to the seaside and I was so excited, I loved it, Dad went into the water, he said it was cold, tut it wasn't! We all played fetch and Dad and Ant took lots of pictures, I suspect they will be uploaded soon!

What a busy life we Lead

Dad hasn't had much time to type this all in for me lately, but as I'm now 17 weeks old, I made him get on and update things.
Since I got my jabs, and micro chipped life is full of surprises,
Now I can go up and down the stairs in the house, I did try it a while ago and couldn't get down, so I sat at the top and whined, dad came and explained how to go down the stairs safely but it was a bit much, so he blocked them off - Not Fair, anyway once I got a bit bigger I managed to climb over the barricade, so dad removed it.
I did decide to have a munch on the leather sofa, Both dad and Antony wasn't impressed!
I travel well in the car and van now, as before I wanted to sit on Dad's lap, although he thought it was funny, I did get told No, But all I wanted was a cuddle!
Dad has a mate who has 2 dogs, Boris a chocolate labrador and Oliver, not sure what he is, but he's about a year old, and Boris is about 6 years old, Oli's fun and Boris sleeps.
Dads been teaching me plumbing, I can fetch a 3 meter length of overflow pipe, as he took me into the local merchants last Saturday, and I helped carry the pipe out to the van, where we went to nans, and I saw Jesse, whilst dad got on with some work.
I can get onto the sofa all by myself now, and Dad only lets me get up there after we have had dinner, so we can watch the tele and have a fuss whilst dinner goes down.
I know the way home from our walks, and Dad has 5 different ways we go out, so I'm getting to know the area really well, I'm getting really good at roads as well, as it's getting very rare that dad tells me to sit, as I do it automatically.
Dad has uploaded some pictures today as well.

I've been introduced to some nice food lately, I'm now on dry food, but dad gets me some cool things, I get Honey Roasted Salmon flakes
which I love, when Dad has an apple I always get a bit, and hard boiled eggs are fun, I'll try to get dad to video me eating one next time we have one then it can be uploaded to the website.

Anyway I'd better let dad goto bed now as he needs it, and pretty soon I'll be allowed on that as well LOL.

Dad took me to meet Jessie today, Oh boy was that fun, she wouldn't play at first, and she can be a bit funny, but it was all good.

Jasper's First Walk

Well I final managed to get taken for my first walk.
It was great, I didn't like the cars that passed by or a pussycat that I saw, but it was still fun :-)

Well you'll never guess what I've had for dinner???
Dad made me scrambled egg, well not proper scrambled egg with milk, but with water, from what I hear when I'm older; with milk is even better!
But never the less I couldn't wait till it cooled down, I did sit patiently for about a minute then I did get too excited when I could smell it cooking, I was jumping up at dads legs which made him laugh as I think the backs of his knees are ticklish, hehe I can get my own back now when he tickles me.

Jasper has settled into home life really well, I expected more mess in the house than we actually have had.
We bought some puppy training pads for the lounge for those little accidents of excitement, and they have hardly been used, when he needs to go to the toilet, he lets us know and has enough time to get out and go. Yes that even means during the night, he speaks and creates until he is let out.
Which I believe is down to good breading than us teaching him, although the pads will stay there just incase ;)
I personally would prefer he uses the pads than waking me me up around 1:30 am then at 5:30 am, every morning, but that's just one of those things to be expected ;)

Teeth, Oh boy has this lad got a BITE!!!
I'm thinking of calling him "Little vampire", this morning he wanted up on the sofa, whilst I was trying to get back to sleep, and so I lifted him up and then Jasper proceeded to pounce onto my neck and bite, I do bring it on myself as play with him as if I was another pup, so he keeps his play full side, which I feel is a must, any way about 8 am when my apprentice Lewis turned up and we was having coffee on the patio, "little needles" got me with a massive bite onto the side of my foot, and as he pounced and his mouth must have been as wide as it could be I couldn't get him off.

Anyway I'm hoping to get the camcorder working on the mac, so we can upload some movies of Jasper, and hopefully get some images uploaded as well so please keep coming back.

The Day of Reckoning - It's self!!!

Well we made it up there OK, following a visit to Starbucks in Cardiff, for a massive caffeine fix!!! LOL
We were made at home by Debbie & Carl. I could see a change in Jasper already. We met the rest of the dogs and all are super, we could have taken them all but that just wouldn't be fair.

On our way back we stopped at Cardiff, dare I say it, Oh OK then, another caffeine fix, and lunch whilst Jasper had lunch, and boy what an appetite that dogs got,
not only did he eat a whole tin (which we knew he would), but he tried to get his head into my vanilla latte and grab some foam LOL, "my coffee get ya snout out!"
Oh and what a babe magnet that boy is, we got swamped in the car park.
Then we set off for the 2 hour drive home, expecting to have some small puppy accidents on the way home, we was totally surprised that there was none!

So in conclusion not only has he got good taste in coffee (Don't worry he didn't get a chance), but he likes the car so much he wouldn't mess in it, (yeh right time will tell on that LOL)

The Day of Reckoning Approaches!!!

If you know us then you'll not be surprised to the amount of excitement that is coming from our home, getting a new puppy, is a big step, especially for me since we lost our last dog, Jack to old age and illness in April as he was nearing his 14th birthday, anyway, a lot of what Jack did, I'm sort of seeing in Jasper at the moment.
I've heard that he likes the taste of cables, now that on it's own is not unusual for a puppy for to around and chew things, LOL he'll love our place, we've puppy proofed all cables!! LOL Sorry Jasper. I nearly lost jack to electrocution as he chomped through a vcr power lead.
Anyways, The Day of Reckoning Approaches :: What's that all about?
Apart from being a cool title to start with, when we collect Jasper and bring him home, we have a 3 1/2 hr drive, so it'll be interesting to see how he travels.
I suspect he'll be fine and that he'll probably sleep most of the way home, although I am under orders to hit the Starbucks Drive through in Cardiff for another caffeine fix.
